Paraprofessional / Classroom Support

Amergis Staffing is seeking four full-time Paraprofessionals to provide instructional and behavioral support to students across various educational settings. Under the supervision of the special education department, classroom teacher, or designated supervisor, the Paraprofessional will assist students with academic tasks, behavioral interventions, and personal care needs as outlined by healthcare professionals.

Standard School Hours:

• Pre-K: 8:50 AM 4:30 PM
• Elementary: 8:25 AM 3:55 PM
• Middle School: 7:45 AM 3:10 PM
• High School: 7:15 AM 2:45 PM

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• One of the following educational qualifications:
• Passing score of 459 or higher on the ParaPro Assessment
• 60+ college credit hours from an accredited institution
• Associate's degree or higher
• Compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
• Current CPR certification (if applicable)
• TB screening (questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray as required)
• Drug screening
• Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
