Paralegal, Digital Products And Services

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Support product legal reviews by gathering facts, preparing initial assessments, and drafting summaries or memos.
• Create, maintain, and update legal support workflows.
• Provide timely support on review of marketing and creative materials in support of GM's digital services and products.
• Work cross-functionally to ensure stakeholder input on marketing materials, including across Legal and business clients.
• Assist in the creation of presentation materials and with other special projects as requested.
• Assist in managing and organizing Legal processes to achieve efficiencies, including support activities related to intake and review of legal deliverables.
• Update various legal templates as needed with direction from attorneys.
• Perform special projects and other related duties as assigned or requested.
• Keep attorneys and business stakeholders informed of the completion of assignments.

Education requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

Basic qualifications & experience:

• 3+ years as a paralegal with an in-house legal department, preferably in the technology sector.
• Excellent computer skills, including advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple, competing priorities, in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight.
• Highly effective communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organization.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters.
• Ability to work effectively independently and collaboratively with others.

Location: Hybrid. This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the office in Detroit, MI three times per week, at minimum [or other frequency dictated by the business]. Relocation: This job is NOT eligible for relocation benefits.
