Orthopedic Physician

Island Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon with a focus on spine surgical procedures to join our Island Orthopedic Clinic. Ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills to develop relationships with orthopedic surgeons, referring physicians and hospital staff. Island Health has provided orthopedic surgery to our community for over twenty years, this is a unique opportunity to be part of establishing a new orthopedic practice at Island Health.

• Four Day Work Week
• General Orthopedic Hospital Call Coverage required
• Work closely with cohesive, multi-specialty group providers with support staff
• Integrated Meditech Expanse EMR platform, utilized throughout the organization
• Compensation is between $863,928 and $1,036,714 per year
• The posted salary range reflects the range of total compensation and may include productivity, incentives related to quality and performance, hospital/ED call stipends, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position.
• Sign on bonus $30,000
• Globus Surgical Spine Robot and microscope within the OR
• Active Washington State Medical License or the ability to obtain one.
• Competitive base salary guarantee and productivity incentives the first year of employment combined with comprehensive CME & Professional Society allowance; malpractice coverage, Washington State Medical License, DEA and Medical Staff dues paid by Island Health.
