Oracle Database Admin

Roles & Responsibilities:

• 7+ years of experience in relational database.
• Strong SQL background.
• Able to troubleshoot and tune SQL performance issues.
• Experience with Cassandra/CQL/DataStax tools.
• Firm understanding of the core concepts of Cassandra and able to assist with troubleshooting problems.
• Experience with Oracle GoldenGate replication technology.
• Experience with IBM's DataStage a plus.
• Experience with the development models such as Agile and SDLC.
• Experience in data management best practices.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks and adapt to a constantly changing environment.
• Must be comfortable working on a distributed, multi-time zone team.
• Database Development and Optimization.
• Design, develop, and maintain complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers and views for mission critical applications.
• Analyze execution plans, apply indexing strategies and PL/SQL for performance (bulk operations, indexing, pipelined functions).
• Ensure normalization, integrity constraints, partitioning, and effective indexing.
• Collaborate with DBAs for capacity planning and system tunning.
