Project Kuiper Operations Excellence Lead

Project Kuiper is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Its mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world, and we've designed the system with the capacity, flexibility, and performance to serve a wide range of customers, from individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity.

Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

As the Operations Excellence Lead, you will support and drive the end-to-end strategy for continuous improvement for Kuiper Fulfillment working in tandem with the Change Ops Manager. Continuous improvement includes diving deep into existing processes and procedures and working backward from stakeholders and business leaders to drive operational efficiencies.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Drive implementation of change initiatives that impact multiple fulfillment sites, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
• Develop and maintain effective communication channels between sites and cross-functional teams
• Partner with site leadership to ensure successful execution of change management strategies
• Lead and facilitate Kaizen events to identify opportunities for operational excellence
• Analyze current processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity
• Track and report on key metrics to measure success of improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with the Change Ops Manager to coordinate implementation of new processes across all fulfillment sites
• Maintain strong relationships with site leaders and key stakeholders
• Manage multiple improvement projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Track project metrics and provide regular updates to leadership

Success in the role will be measured by cost improvement, operational consistency, and overall success of Kuiper Fulfillment.
