Job Title
OPS - Committee on Appropriations
General Summary :
The Committee on Appropriations is recruiting multiple individuals to provide administrative support to committee staff. These clerical positions serve in a temporary, time-limited capacity. OPS employees will work 32 to 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m., with some occasional evening hours.
Individuals may anticipate employment between October 2025 - March 2026.
Examples of Work Performed:

Provides administrative assistance.
Answers phones and routes incoming calls.
Greets visitors.
Loads copiers and makes copies.
Files documents.
Inputs data and runs reports.
Prepares meeting notebooks.
Operates recording software during committee meetings.
Delivers documents within the Capitol complex.
Performs other related duties as required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Ability to maintain accurate records.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Ability to determine work priorities and ensure proper completion of work assignments.
Ability to follow office procedures and practices.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.

Minimum Qualifications:
A high school diploma or its equivalent or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Salary:
Hourly rate of pay is $15.00
