Location: Agnesian Health Plaza, Bldg A, Fond du Lac, WI

Join our team as an Occupational Therapy Specialist and make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients. We are currently seeking a dedicated professional for a part-time position, requiring approximately 16 hours per week during the day shift. Starting pay is competitive at $35.81+/hour, based on experience and role equity.

Job Summary:

As an Occupational Therapy Specialist, you will assess and treat patients experiencing physical, emotional, cognitive, and psychosocial challenges, helping them regain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients' abilities to perform daily living activities and create personalized care plans.
• Implement treatment plans using various modalities and monitor patient progress, making adjustments as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families about deficits and provide guidance on adaptive equipment and support resources.
• Supervise care provided by designated personnel, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
• Maintain a safe and alert working environment.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy or related field required for licensure.

Experience:

• No prior experience required; we welcome new graduates.

Physical Requirements:

• Constant standing, frequent lifting of 0-25 lbs, and occasional lifting of 25-50 lbs.
• Excellent communication skills, including hearing and speech for patient interaction.
• Reliable mobility with regular walking, reaching, and data entry tasks.
• Occasional driving may be required.

Licensure Requirements:

Must obtain a valid Occupational Therapist license in your state of practice. Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) certification is required within 90 days of employment.
