Occupational Therapist - Inpatient Care

In this vital role, you will play a crucial part in helping patients regain their independence and enhance their daily living skills after experiencing injuries, illnesses, or surgeries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional capabilities to create tailored treatment plans.
• Develop and implement innovative therapeutic interventions designed to improve patients' ability to perform daily activities.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and nurses, to create and maintain comprehensive care plans.
• Provide education to patients and their families on effective strategies for continued improvement post-discharge.
• Document patient progress regularly and modify treatment plans as required to ensure optimal recovery.

Work Environment:

• This role is situated within hospital inpatient units, where you will support patients recovering from various acute conditions, including surgeries and strokes.
• Please note that the position may involve prolonged standing and assisting patients with mobility and task adaptations.
