Position Details:
- Full-time, 100% outpatient, Monday-Friday; No weekends, holidays, or call
- Patient population, GYN from menarche through end of life; average 72-80/week
- Practice includes 15 physicians and 12 advanced practice providers and robust support staff
- Procedures include: LARC/IUD insertions and removals, endometrial and vulvar biopsies
- WHNP, CNM, or FNP certification required
- NP experience required, preferably in an OB/GYN office (minimum one year)
- Experience that has led to independent thinking and the ability to practice autonomously in the setting of an observation unit, completing admissions, and discharges.
- Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively in a collaborative role when working with physicians.

Healthcare System/Hospital Description
The new IU Health Bloomington Hospital and Regional Academic Health Center opened in December 2021. The facility offers a personalized approach to inpatient services (including intensive care, complex surgeries and comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology services), outpatient services with leading-edge diagnostic testing, flexible space in the emergency department for post-care observation, a dedicated trauma center and a cancer infusion center.
At the same time, the facility strengthens healthcare education by providing space for collaboration and coordination of care and teaching. Students and trainees frequently come to the hospital side of the facility for clinical experiences.
