Certified Nurse Midwife

Ascension Winchester Primary Care and Women's Health is seeking an experienced Certified Nurse Midwife for our practice in Winchester, IN. This is a great opportunity to join a busy practice with a supportive staff.

Highlights:

• Responsibilities include: outpatient Obstetrics and Gynecology, intrapartum and postpartum care, and vaginal deliveries.
• Office hours: Mon-Fri 7:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
• Call schedule: 24hr call 1 day per week and 1 weekend per month
• See approx 17-20 patients per day
• Established practice includes 2 supportive physicians

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• One or more of the following required:
• Nurse Midwife credentialed from the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Nurse Midwife credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• Master's or Doctorate of Science in Nursing or Midwifery or Doctorate of Nursing Practice required.
