• During initial license training, total earnings can range from $159,000 to $182,000 per year, depending on experience and license status. This includes a 15% annual incentive bonus, a sign-on bonus, a $10,000 bonus distributed through training milestones, a robust benefits package, and a 401(k) with company matching.
• Once licensed, the total earnings start from $191,000 per year, plus a target 15% annual bonus, license premium, and overtime pay for extended shifts requiring operational coverage.

Constellation is actively seeking Initial License Trainees (ILT) for the role of Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) at Clinton Generating Station.

The core objective of this role is to undergo training and prepare for the responsibilities of an Operations Shift Supervisor holding a Senior Reactor Operator License. Upon successful completion, you will be licensed by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to supervise licensed activities in the reactor control room and lead bargaining unit reactor operators and equipment operators.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Participate in Initial License Training (ILT), which encompasses classroom instruction, examinations, and hands-on training and evaluations.
• Complete all training phases to receive the SRO license and perform as an Operations Shift Supervisor.
• Fulfill additional assignments as directed by management, which may include emergency response, departmental coverage, on-call duties, and support during outages.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Meet one of the following qualifications:
  • 1-year Reactor Operator license at a comparable facility or 1.5 years at a non-comparable facility (i.e., PWR to PWR or BWR to BWR).
  • 1.5 years or more in a role equivalent to Reactor Operator at a military reactor, such as Power Plant Watch Engineer or Reactor Operator, post-qualification.
  • Degree from a 4-year program or equivalent in engineering or physical sciences, along with over 1.5 years as a non-licensed operator or manager in related fields; experience at non-comparable plants considered at a 1.5:1.0 ratio.
• Maintain the necessary access requirements and complete a favorable medical examination related to position responsibilities.
