The Engineering Analyst position is based out of our LaSalle County Generating Station in Marseilles, IL.

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

This role involves advanced technical problem-solving to support nuclear plant operations. You will make critical technical decisions and possess extensive knowledge in your functional discipline as well as applicable industry codes and regulations.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Provide expert technical support to develop and implement engineering analyses and programs.
• Collaborate directly to identify and resolve equipment and system issues, applying your technical expertise.
• Manage engineering tasks and effectively oversee engineering issues from inception to resolution.
• Conduct engineering tasks as assigned while adhering to standard design criteria and practices.
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of your work, maintaining proper configuration management.
• Perform independent research and analysis to support technical projects and programs.
• Recommend innovative equipment and techniques to enhance performance, reduce costs, and comply with regulatory changes.
• Be prepared for various job assignments and emergency response duties as directed by management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Associate Engineering Analyst/E01

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (non-engineer) OR
• Associate's degree in a technical field along with 1+ years of nuclear or related experience OR
• High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 2 years of nuclear experience.
• Must maintain the required access credentials and meet medical examination/testing standards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Engineering Analyst/E02

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (non-engineer) with 2+ years of nuclear or related experience OR
• Associate's degree with 3+ years of nuclear or related experience OR
• High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 5 years applicable nuclear experience.
• Working knowledge of engineering processes in your functional area.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Engineering Analyst/E03

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (non-engineer) and 5+ years of nuclear or related experience OR
• Associate's degree with 7+ years of nuclear or related experience OR
• High School Diploma/GED with at least 8 years of nuclear experience, including 5 years at the exempt level.
• Thorough understanding of engineering processes and systems relevant to your functional area.
