This application is for all New Grad Nurse Residency opportunities throughout CHRISTUS Santa Rosa. We are looking for candidates interested in the following locations: The Children's Hospital of San Antonio, Westover Hills, New Braunfels, and San Marcos. By applying to this position, you will be considered for all available specialty unit openings, ensuring a tailored experience according to your interests.

The Nurse Residency Pathway at CHRISTUS is designed specifically for those with less than 12 months of RN work experience. This comprehensive, one-year program is structured to elevate your skills, confidence, and knowledge as you transition into the dynamic world of hospital nursing. Our mentoring system is designed by nurses for nurses, ensuring you receive the best support.

You will benefit from a variety of resources, including:

• Professional and emotional support from experienced nurses who will serve as your mentors and preceptors.
• Interactive classes and skills labs taught by subject matter experts to enhance your clinical education.

To be eligible, you should be planning to complete the RN examination/licensure process before starting the program. We are committed to promoting nursing excellence and providing exceptional care to our patients through well-prepared nursing staff informed by evidence-based practices.

Job Requirements:

Education/Skills:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred

Experience:

One year or less of experience as a licensed RN or holder of an active GN permit.

Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:

• BLS required
• RN License in state of employment or compact
• Graduate Nurse Permit
