Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Multi-Modality Imaging Technologist who is equipped to excel in multiple modalities within our Imaging Department. This role encompasses a range of services including Diagnostic Radiology, MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Special Procedures, Nuclear Medicine, or Mammography. As a vital member of our team, you will perform technical procedures that demand independent judgment while also being responsible for your designated areas or procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate proficient capabilities in OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
• Conduct a variety of diagnostic procedures using cutting-edge computerized imaging equipment across two or more modalities.
• Exhibit flexibility and competence within assigned modalities to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Engage effectively with patients and care providers, prioritizing procedures to uphold exceptional patient care and continuity.
• Adapt and rotate through different departments and clinics as required for optimal staffing.
• Post-procedure, ensure all scans are properly completed and stored in our PACS system.
• Maintain clean and organized exam rooms, fully stocked in compliance with Infection Control standards.
• Accurately code and enter all charges into the billing system.
• Protect patient confidentiality, ensuring no unauthorized disclosure of information.
• Exhibit outstanding communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
• Provide excellent customer service to all patients and staff.
• Tailor patient assessment and care methods to meet unique needs based on physical, psychosocial, and cultural aspects.
• Adhere strictly to all regulatory policies and standards at the state and federal level, as well as those set by our facility.

• Perform additional tasks as needed to support the Imaging Department.

Job Requirements:

Education/Skills

• Graduation from an accredited school of Radiology Technology or an equivalent program is required.

Experience

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical setting is required.
• Basic proficiency in computer skills is essential.
• A proven track record of excellent customer service is mandatory.

Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications

• Active registration/certification in one of the following primary modalities is required:
• Radiography (R) (ARRT)
• Nuclear Medicine Technology (N) (ARRT or NMTCB)
• Sonography (S) (ARRT or ARDMS)
• Active certification in one of the following post-primary modalities is also required:
• Mammography (M) (ARRT)
• CT (ARRT)
• MRI (ARRT)
• Bone Densitometry (BD) (ARRT)
• Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI) (ARRT)
• Breast Sonography (ARRT)
• Vascular Sonography (VS) (ARRT)
• State Licensure as per modality requirements (Texas, Louisiana, New Mexico).
• BLS certification is required.
