Job Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse

Experience: Experience in telemetry and medical-surgical units; IV skills required.
License: Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
Must-Have: Significant experience with patient populations including cardiovascular, pulmonary, gastrointestinal, substance abuse, and medical diagnoses with underlying psychiatric disorders.
Description:
The unit provides care to a diverse patient population.
There are 38 beds with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights and weekends.
Patient care technicians will have a patient ratio of 1:10.
Weekend shifts will be required every other weekend.
Holidays will be scheduled every other holiday and as needed.
This position involves caring for patients with complex medical needs.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment are essential.
Flexibility and adaptability are important as shifts may vary.
