Full Time,Day Shift Week 1 – SUN (630am-7pm), MON, TUES

Week 2 – MON, TUES, WED

All shifts 830am-9pm

At the clinical direction of a Radiologist and the administrative direction of the Director of Imaging perform magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures with minimum supervision.

Requirements:

Associate's degree or equivalent experience
n
n
Board certified by AART or eligible
n
n
or ARMRIT Registered
n
n
NH MIRT
n
n
BCLS Certified
n

Major Responsibilities:

n
Perform MRI procedures. Review medical record for patient history and pertinent information. Review requisition with physician. Explain procedure to patient. Select proper technique/protocol to obtain optimal scans.

Review studies for overall quality.
n
n
Organize daily work schedule and respond to emergencies as needed.
n
n
Perform daily calibration check on equipment. Alert service to any equipment issues.
n
n
Provide instruction to medical and hospital staff on MRI safety.
n
