Job Description
Job Title: MRI Technologist
Job Specialty: Radiographic Imaging
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM, Monday to Friday (5x8 Hr)
Guaranteed Hours: 40.00 hours per week
Experience: Preferred - Two years of experience as a Technologist in Imaging Services
License: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography
Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
Must-Have: Associate's Degree in Applied Science
Job Description:
- Operate the magnetic resonance imaging scanner to create diagnostic images for physicians.
- Maintain imaging equipment and ensure patient safety and optimal positioning for imaging.
- Collaborate closely with physicians by taking medical histories and maintaining accurate records.
- Adjust the scanner as directed by the physician.
- Provide excellent patient care and manage patient interactions professionally.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols in the imaging suite.
