Position Highlights & Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate proficiency in MRI equipment operation and associated software.
• Safeguard the well-being of patients while ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical professionals to provide comprehensive care.
• Maintain efficient department operations through quality control and proper scheduling.
• Acquire and review patient data to ensure correct and safe MRI procedure setups.
• Provide patient education regarding procedures to enhance understanding and comfort.
• Assist in training new hires and promote a collaborative team environment.
• Uphold the highest quality standards in imaging, following HIPAA regulations.
• Participate in the accreditation process for the American College of Radiology (ACR) every three years.
• Continuously seek professional development opportunities through educational programs.
• Observe patient vitals during examinations and maintain quality assurance practices.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologist) certification.
• MRI certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree in radiography, radiation therapy, or nuclear medicine.
• Minimum of 1 year of MRI Technologist experience.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Familiarity with computerized systems related to the department.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Good eyesight necessary for equipment operation and reviewing images.
