We are seeking a Model-Based Systems Engineer with a strong foundation in data engineering principles to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of systems modeling and data architecture, ensuring that data flows, transformations, and system behaviors are accurately represented and validated.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop and maintain MBSE models that represent data pipelines, data flows, and system interactions.
• Identify gaps between data-related requirements and system components.
• Conduct standalone analysis projects involving data lineage, metadata management, and system interoperability.
• Reconcile discrepancies between different sets of data requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate technical insights related to data architecture, system interfaces, and information models.
• Manage multiple projects involving data-centric system models.

Job Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Data Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in MBSE modeling, with exposure to data-centric system design.
• Proficiency in Cameo Systems Modeler or SysML.
• Familiarity with data modeling concepts.
• Strong communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving data integration and modeling challenges.
• Experience with data pipelines, ETL tools, or data orchestration frameworks.
• Familiarity with data standards and certification processes.
• Knowledge of avionics or mission systems with a focus on data exchange and telemetry.
• Experience with networked systems, TSN, or distributed data architectures.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $135000.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
