Key Responsibilities:

• Design, manage, and enhance secure networks across various domains.
• Lead performance optimization, troubleshooting, and disaster recovery for mission-critical systems.
• Ensure adherence to security standards such as DISA STIGs and RMF.
• Collaborate with various engineering disciplines to create resilient, high-availability solutions.
• Automate network operations with scripting tools like PowerShell or Bash.
• Drive system design and technical planning across hardware, software, and networks.
• Facilitate smooth system integration, validation, and deployment in realistic settings.
• Assess trade-offs involving cost, risk, and supportability to improve system performance.
• Lead requirements analysis, functional breakdown, and project timeline forecasting.
• Establish interfaces and conduct studies to integrate subsystems into unified architectures.
• Oversee technical execution to achieve performance, quality, and delivery goals.
• Support testing, quality assurance, and configuration management throughout development.

Basic Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance - a must.
• Bachelor's in IT, Computer Science, or a related field with 8+ years of experience, or a Master's with 6+ years . Equivalent experience can substitute for a degree.
• Strong knowledge in network security and regulatory compliance.
• 8570 compliant , preferably with CompTIA Security+ CE or a higher credential.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing, integrating, and implementing complex systems.
• Expertise in requirements analysis, interface definition, trade studies, and timeline projections.
• Practical experience in system testing, validation, and quality assurance.
• Outstanding problem-solving capabilities, particularly in ambiguous technical scenarios.
• Strong understanding of systems integration and troubleshooting within complex architectures.
• Effective communicator with proven success in cross-functional collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced understanding of Systems Engineering principles (e.g., INCOSE standards ).
• Experience with modeling and design tools such as SysML, Cameo, IBM DOORS .
• Cybersecurity proficiency in system design and risk management.
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks and validation scripting.
• Experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community initiatives.
• Strong capabilities in network hardening and compliance remediation.
• Excellent technical documentation and communication skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge across hardware, software, and networking disciplines.
