Join Leidos as a licensed behavioral health professional in our Adult Military and Family Life Counseling (MFLC) team, supporting military service members and their families in navigating the unique challenges of military life.

This role offers a fulfilling opportunity to provide essential non-medical support through counseling, consultation, and outreach. Your work will help service members, their spouses, and families address and overcome issues proactively, ensuring they receive support before challenges escalate.

As an Adult-MFLC, you will directly engage with those who serve our country, offering critical assistance tailored to their emotional and environmental needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct face-to-face counseling sessions with individuals, couples, and families within the military community.
• Engage in activities and events with service members and their families, providing coaching, support, and guidance.
• Deliver informative presentations to military families and leadership during military-connect events.
• Foster a positive atmosphere and creativity through sanctioned outreach materials.
• Build strong relationships with families by attending community and installation events.
• Assist families in adjusting to life transitions, such as moving to new locations or schools.
• Participate in ongoing training and contract activities as required.
• Report on trends and emerging issues within the military community to team leads.

Additional Role Responsibilities:

• Respond to urgent situations within military installation locations.
• Travel across various indoor and outdoor settings, necessitating mobility across uneven terrains.
• Comply with specific site requirements on military installations.

Work Environment:

This position involves a mix of indoor (about 60%) and outdoor (about 40%) settings. Indoor tasks will occur in environments such as child development centers. Outdoor responsibilities may require navigating uneven surfaces and exposure to various weather conditions.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A Master’s degree or higher in Behavioral Health Professions (MS/MSW/MA/PhD).
• Independent practice licensure in the U.S. (LCSW, MFT, LPCC, Psychologist).
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Ability to pass a background check and obtain necessary security clearances.

Pay Range: $57,850.00 - $104,575.00. Your compensation will reflect responsibilities, experience, and skills within the competitive market.
