The salary range for this position is 34.50 - 55.20 (Hourly Rate) Placement within the salary range is dependent on several factors such as relevant work experience and internal equity. For positions represented by a labor union placement within the salary range is guided by the rules outlined in the collective bargaining agreement.

Full Time Nights 7pm-7:30am with rotating weekends

• 0-2 years' experience 3000
• 2 plus years of experience 7500

CDH Neuro Intermediate (3B) 24 bed neurosciences unit providing care to patients requiring medical and surgical treatment of acute neurological and spine disorders Neurological conditions include acute and stable traumatic brain injury subarachnoid hemorrhage stroke spinal injury seizure and acute inflammation or infections of the CNS. Neurosurgical patients include aneurysm repair CS leaks & lumbar drains post-op neurosurgical and spinal patients.

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Current State of Illinois Registered Professional Nurse
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate with others
• Strong analytic abilities
• Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) acceptable with commitment to obtain a BSN from an accredited program within three years of first day of employment in clinical nurse role.

Preferred:

• Experience in specific clinical area
• Additional Preferences for the Emergency Room and the Pediatric Emergency Room
• Trauma Nurse Specialist (TNS)
• Emergency Communications Registered Nurse
• Certified Pediatric Nurse
• Certified Emergency Nurse
