We are seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable Scheduling Specialist to join a dynamic healthcare support team. This role is responsible for coordinating patient appointments, ensuring accurate documentation, and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced call center environment.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working under pressure, possess strong communication skills, and demonstrate empathy and professionalism in every interaction. This position requires a high level of accuracy, adaptability, and a commitment to maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule patient appointments efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure compliance with established scheduling policies and procedures.
- Communicate appointment details clearly to patients and internal teams.
- Audit and complete electronic documentation of patient and case information in a timely manner.
- Maintain high-quality standards while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, peers, and supervisors on a daily basis.
- Demonstrate core values such as purpose, excellence, compassion, and teamwork.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a call center or customer service role.
- Strong attention to detail, especially in data entry.
- Ability to adapt to different departments and changing priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Quick thinking and professional response to customer inquiries.
- Empathy and a customer-first mindset.
- High school diploma or GED required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Bilingual skills (a plus).
- Experience with healthcare scheduling systems (a plus).
Disqualifiers:
- CNA experience is not aligned with this role.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
