Medical Imaging Technologist - Diagnostic Radiology (Evening Shift)

Join our dynamic Diagnostic Radiology team as a Medical Imaging Technologist, where you will play a crucial role in creating diagnostic images and ensuring an exceptional experience for our patients. This position offers a full-time evening shift, allowing you to make a significant impact during hours convenient for many.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform technical imaging procedures in your given modality while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
• Support our physicians in various procedures and leverage your expertise to assist with clinical evaluations.
• Participate in a culture of continuous learning and improvement, becoming a mentor for new staff and students.
• Conduct regular quality assurance on images and patient data to uphold our commitment to excellence.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and accreditation standards, particularly regarding radiation safety protocols.
• Use computer systems efficiently to enter patient information accurately.
• Obtain peripheral IV access and administer contrast material when needed.
• Remain adaptable to additional duties as they arise.

Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree in Applied Science - required.
• Diploma in X-Ray - required.
• Graduate of an accredited professional imaging program - required.
• ARRT Certification in Radiologic Technology upon hire - required.
• Current New York State registration or possess a limited permit to practice in New York - required.
• Prior experience in the field is preferred but not mandatory.

This position requires physical activity, including frequent standing, walking, and lifting. Candidates should be ready to engage in various physical demands such as pushing, pulling, kneeling, and frequent repetitive motions.
