This position works out of our Altavista, VA location in the Abbott Nutrition division. Our Nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow to keeping adult bodies strong and active. What You'll Work On:

• Safely operate both complex and standard high-speed production equipment that makes our industry-leading nutrition products
• Maintain inventory of packaging materials
• Complete workorder documentation
• Perform quality checks
• Clean equipment and the production environment
• Troubleshoot equipment issues

You'll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• 6 months prior manufacturing experience
• Good written/verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, analytical troubleshooting skills and the ability to multitask

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of applicable regulatory standards and requirements for infant formula and nutritionals
• Experience with tools and equipment related to the position or experience as a Sr. Production Equipment Operator is desired

The base pay for this position is $18.65 $37.35 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
