Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Formulate business strategies that enhance growth, profitability, and competitive advantages for Capital One amid evolving consumer and regulatory landscapes.
• Leadership Development: Manage and mentor a team of 1-2 analysts, focusing on nurturing talent and promoting career advancement within Capital One.
• Product Development: Create and implement innovative product and pricing strategies for various lending products, and lead analytics for product-level models.
• Marketing Initiatives: Spearhead direct-to-consumer marketing campaigns for selected products and shape strategic direction for products in retail channels. Utilize insights to enhance customer experiences and drive innovative market strategies.
• Credit Risk Management: Achieve significant improvements in credit performance by correlating future consumer credit trends with historical data, developing risk models, and conducting thorough analyses.
• Execution Leadership: Oversee the delivery of business objectives, establish business requirements, and execute the product strategy effectively while managing multiple projects concurrently.
• Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with various departments within Capital One, including IT, Sales, Operations, and Finance to enhance quality, volume, service, and profitability.
• Analytic Decision-Making: Utilize a strong quantitative aptitude to inform decisions and solve problems, ensuring a data-driven approach aligns with business needs.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Business, Math, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Science, Engineering)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in analysis

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Business or another quantitative discipline
• 5+ years of analytic experience
• 2+ years in financial services
• 1+ year of consulting experience
• 2+ years of people management experience

This role is located in McLean, VA, with a salary range of $158,400 to $180,800 or Richmond, VA, with a salary range of $144,000 to $164,400. This position may offer performance-based compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that supports your overall well-being.
