Mammography Imaging Technologist

About the Role:

In this position, you will utilize state-of-the-art equipment to perform high-quality digital mammograms under general supervision. Your responsibilities will include quality control and ensuring adherence to guidelines set by the American College of Radiology and MQSA. You will need to demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality digital mammograms consistently.
• Follow established protocols based on individual patient needs and exam orders.
• Explain procedures to patients and maintain their comfort and safety during exams.
• Use radiation safety measures to comply with government regulations and protect patients and staff.
• Evaluate images for technical quality.
• Ensure cleanliness of the mammography machine and equipment according to infection control policies.

Work Hours: 7:30 am - 6:00 pm (no weekends)

As part of our dedicated team, enjoy a competitive salary range of $29 to $56 per hour, with an additional $10,000 sign-on bonus for external candidates. Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Active WA state license or pending application.
• Current ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology, with board certification or eligibility in Mammography (must achieve this certification within one year of hire).
• Completion of an ARRT-approved imaging technology course.
