Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Imaging Technologist to perform a variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures. You will play a vital role in ensuring smooth patient flow and supporting fellow imaging technologists. Flexibility is key; you may be required to work different shifts or at alternate campuses as needed. A proactive attitude is essential for troubleshooting basic maintenance issues and participating in quality assurance. You will also engage in ongoing education to stay current with safety standards and technical advancements in the field.

• Conduct imaging examinations to support patient throughput in alignment with professional certifications and competencies.
• Flexibly adjust your schedule to meet the needs of the department.
• Ensure accurate scanning and storage of completed exams in PACS.
• Act as a PACS Superuser, following downtime procedures and escalating issues as necessary.
• Report equipment malfunctions responsibly to the Director/Manager and follow up with Biomedical personnel.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program or an approved equivalent.

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year in medical imaging required; mammography experience is highly preferred.
• Basic computer skills are a must.

Licenses and Certifications:

• ARRT Radiography (R) certification is required.
• ARRT Mammography (M) certification is required within one year of hire.
• State-specific licensure is required (Texas MRT, Louisiana LRT, New Mexico RRT).
• BLS certification is required.
