Maintenance Lead

As a Maintenance Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing all electrical repair and maintenance of process and building equipment, including pumps, temperature controllers, and mechanical equipment. You will assist in the completion, implementation, and management of the Preventative Maintenance Program, performing preventative maintenance on all machines and building equipment as required.

Responsibilities:

• Test and repair high and low voltage electrical and electronic circuits and systems.
• Read, interpret, modify, and implement technical information from technical manuals, electrical drawings, blueprints, P&IDs, and maintenance procedures.
• Comply with all company health, safety, and environmental procedures and policies.

Essential Skills:

• Extensive knowledge of primary and secondary power systems, motors, switch gears, electrical panels, lighting systems, and general equipment maintenance.
• Strong electrical and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience using power tools and equipment.
• Knowledge and experience with motor control.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, preventive maintenance, blueprint reading, PLC troubleshooting, industrial maintenance, welding, mechanical HVAC, plumbing, and fabrication.
• Experience with 3 phase motors, relays, PLC troubleshooting and repair, and HVAC systems.
• Flexibility with work hours, including availability for off-shift and weekend work as needed.

Work Environment:

The role involves work across six different buildings, and you must have your own tools, with an area provided to securely lock them up.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newport Beach, California.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
