Pay Info: $20,000 sign-on bonus with a 2-year work commitment

Department Details

We're looking for enthusiastic MRI team members! Our team handles a diverse range of exams including:

• Neuro
• MSK
• Body
• Breast
• Breast biopsy
• Cardiac
• Pediatrics
• Research

The schedule will include weekend on-call approximately 1 out of 6 weekends and 1 holiday per year. Our technologies include:

• Epic EMR
• Sectra PACS
• Siemens, GE, Philips-1.5T and 3T scanners

We have a dedicated MRI Safety Committee to address any concerns and a centralized scheduling team to enhance patient scheduling.

Job Summary

As an MRI Technologist, you will:

• Perform diagnostic Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) exams.
• Exercise professional judgment regarding procedures and MRI safety.
• Provide a quality patient care experience and initiate life support measures as necessary.
• Interact effectively with patients, their families, and healthcare professionals.
• Document accurately in patient records and utilize electronic medical record systems.
• Work with patients to understand their physical and emotional status.
• Possess extensive knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.
• Be flexible in duties, which may evolve based on facility needs.

Qualifications

• Completion of formal Radiologic Technology training from an AMA or JRCERT accredited school.
• Preferred experience in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).
• ARRT or ARMRIT certification required upon hire.
• Preferred MRI certification within two years of hire according to accreditation requirements.
• North Dakota and Iowa licensing as required for performing medical imaging procedures.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six weeks of employment.
