Machine Repair Journeyman - 2nd Shift

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Machine Repair Journeyman - 2nd shift to join their dynamic team. As a Machine Repair Journeyman - 2nd shift, you will be an integral part of the Maintenance Department supporting the manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills, a proactive attitude, and excellent mechanical aptitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: Caledonia, MI

Pay Range: Based on Experience

Shift: Evenings 2nd Shift

What's the Job?

• Perform repairs, rebuilds, and maintenance on all plant manufacturing equipment with minimal supervision.
• Troubleshoot and repair plant equipment using prints and manufacturer specifications.
• Set up and operate various precision machines for part fabrication.
• Utilize welding skills (TIG, MIG, arc) to support manufacturing needs.
• Operate cranes, forklifts, and rigging equipment to move heavy materials and machinery safely.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successfully completed a 4-year apprenticeship approved by the U.S. Department of Labor.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing plant equipment, including pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Experience with welding techniques such as TIG, MIG, and arc welding.
• Ability to work in elevated positions and perform heavy lifting safely.
