Work hours: Full-time, 40 hours weekly, Monday thru Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Here's What You Need

Education

• Accredited school of practical nursing program (Required)

Experience

• 1 year experience in a clinic or acute hospital nursing setting or specialty clinic (Required)
• 2 Years Experience in a clinical setting or specialty clinic (Highly Preferred)

Licenses and Certifications

• LVN - Licensed Vocational Nurse (Required) And
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Preferred) Or
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support (Preferred)

What You Will Do

• Direct and guide back office staff in monitoring and expediting workflow
• Handle medical supply inventory, orders and cost control
• Manage patient phone calls for results and health information, Monitor and documents treatment progress and patient response
• Convey information to patients and families about health status, health maintenance, and management of acute and chronic conditions
• Perform basic nursing care for patients by following established standards and procedures. May perform specific nursing care as it relates to specialty of the practice.
• Prepare and administer injections, perform routine tests.
• Prepare patient records and files using established medical record forms/automated systems and documentation practices
• Participate in teams to improve patient care processes and outcome
• Perform other duties as assigned
