Pay Range: 29.03 - 46.45 / hour

Summary

This position performs scans using computed tomography to create a cross section of patients internal organs for medical analysis. They also prepare and administer contrast agents to obtain some images. This position may work in various clinical environments such as the hospital or diagnostic imaging centers. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

This position works under the supervision of the Director ATL Lead Technologist and providers in Radiology and is employed by Mosaic Health System.

Duties

• Completes assessment/reassessment of patient and documents in medical record.
• Analyzes the information collected to determine patients needs and expected outcomes.
• Develops and implements plan of care based upon the assessment diagnosis and expected outcomes of patient.
• Ensures a discharge plan is a part of the individualized plan of care as appropriate to the population served.
• Engages in patient/family/staff teaching to achieve the desired patient outcomes.

Qualifications

All required education is a minimum requirement. Higher levels of education are acceptable. Graduate of school of nursing required. BSN Preferred. Licensed in State of Missouri or Kansas depending upon designated work location. BLS certification required within 90 days from start date.
