About The Position
Gastroenterology Locums Opportunity in California
We are seeking a Gastroenterologist for a locum tenens opportunity in CA! Enjoy a flexible schedule and the chance to work with a growing team that's building a new GI clinic and expanding quickly in a well-established medical setting.
Highlights
- No weekend call requirements
- Credentialing completed in 4-6 weeks
Practice Setting
- Mix of inpatient and outpatient care
- Support staff includes 1 other GI MD, 1.5 NPs, and full office/hospital team
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 7am - 5pm
- 2-3 weeknights of call per week, 1-2 weekends per month
- Flexible block schedule
Procedures and Cases
- Clinic and procedures, with some inpatient consults and rounding
- Lab days include 10-13 procedures, including possible ERCP (not required)
- Support team available for emergent procedures
Requirements
- Board Certified or Eligible (within 5 years) in Gastroenterology
- BLS and DEA required
- Must hold California state licensure
