About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Locums Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join a collaborative orthopedic team in Twin Falls, ID. This position offers the opportunity to practice high-acuity orthopedic trauma care.  The ideal candidate is fellowship-trained in orthopedic trauma and comfortable managing complex fractures and high-energy trauma cases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive evaluation and surgical care for orthopedic trauma patients
• Participate in a shared call rotation with a collegial orthopedic group
• Perform both scheduled and emergency surgical procedures
• Collaborate with hospitalists, emergency medicine, and surgical teams to ensure optimal trauma care
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and trauma program development
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Fellowship-trained in Orthopedic Trauma Surgery preferred
• Idaho medical licensure
