Night shift, 4x12 hours (18:45 - 07:15). Every other weekend coverage is required.

Job Description

We are seeking skilled Registered Nurses specializing in Medical Surgical and Oncology care. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive patient care for a diverse patient population within a medical-surgical unit that primarily serves individuals with oncology histories.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy, including IV, PO, or injection.
• Monitor and manage patients with general medical-surgical diagnoses.
• Perform blood product administration and peripheral line management.
• Utilize cardiac monitoring techniques and respond to emergencies.
• Implement isolation precautions and ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical Surgical setting, with oncology experience preferred.
• Current certifications: BLS required; Chemo (ONS/ONCC) certification preferred.
• Strong skills in IV therapy, phlebotomy, dysrhythmia management, and isolation precautions.
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start for this specialty.
