General Information:Job title: Registered Nurse - Acute Care Location: Mauston, WI 53948Schedule: Full-time, 72 hours per pay period; three, 12 hour shifts per week- 7:00pm to 7:30amWeekend rotation: Every 4th weekend Weekend shift differential availableHoliday rotation: Paid HolidaysPosition Summary:The Registered Nurse position provides quality, professional, general nursing care to patients. Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, documenting, and evaluating patient care for a group of patients in the department. Must adapt appropriately to changes in daily assignments, patient status changes, and unit needs.Position Requirements:Two-year degree in nursing required. Four-year degree preferred.Must hold and maintain nursing license. RNs with an active Compact Licensure are to obtain a Wisconsin RN license within 90 days of relocation.BLS within 1 month of hire, ACLS within 2 years of hire, PALS encouraged within 2 years of hireExceptional accuracy and attention to detail required.Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesIntermediate proficiency with computers is required.Comprehensive nursing skills and general knowledge of equipment.Strong skills to manage, coordinate, and evaluate the care and education of patients and family.Strong quantitative and analytical competency.Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
