Position Overview

Client is seeking a dedicated and professional Medical Assistant to join our multi-specialty practice, which includes Hematology/Oncology, Gynecologic Oncology, Breast Surgery, and Palliative Care. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity designed for candidates who wish to transition into a permanent role within Penn Medicine.

Key Responsibilities

• Room and prepare patients for exams and procedures

• Obtain and record vital signs, patient histories, and relevant clinical information

• Assist physicians and nurses during patient visits and minor procedures

• Handle incoming patient calls and relay messages appropriately

• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments and follow-ups

• Maintain and update patient records accurately in EPIC EMR

• Support front-office and back-office operations as needed

• Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure smooth clinic operations

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 year of recent experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting ,

• EPIC EMR experience is required

• CCMA Certification

• BLS from AHA

• Commitment to patient-centered care and confidentiality (HIPAA compliance)
