Cath Lab Technologist

Location: Port St. Lucie, FL
Shift: 8-Hour Day Shifts (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cath Lab Technologist to join a leading healthcare facility in Port St. Lucie, Florida. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cardiovascular technology and a strong ability to support diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and other interventional procedures.
• Operate and maintain imaging and monitoring equipment in the Cath Lab.
• Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring comfort, safety, and adherence to sterile techniques.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to emergencies when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of procedures and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technology program.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a Cardiovascular Technologist or ARRT-certified technologist.
• Certifications:
  • Active ARRT or RCIS certification required.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (must be current or obtained prior to start).
• Other Requirements:
  • Must reside within 30 minutes of the facility for on-call responsibilities (approximately 10 call shifts per month).

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly Pay Range: $30.00 – $42.00 (based on experience).
• Sign-On Bonus: Available on a case-by-case basis.
