Salary Range: $21.00 - $29.50

Department Details

Be part of a dedicated pediatric orthopedic team where you'll provide hands-on care to young patients facing various orthopedic issues from birth to 16/17 years of age. In this dynamic role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Learn to place and remove casts and splints.
• Assist with dressing changes and removal of staples/sutures.
• Room patients and assist with sterile procedures as necessary.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients and their families.

The clinic operates Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, with no weekends or major holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of patients.
• Document comprehensive medical histories from patients.
• Assist with patient assessments and administer medications or treatments as prescribed.
• Provide technical support to healthcare professionals.
• Counsel patients and their families on prevention and treatment plans under the guidance of a registered nurse.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program.
• Possess an unencumbered LPN license with the State Nursing board or have multi-state licensure privileges.
• Completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing, if applicable.
