Department Details

In this dynamic role as an LPN, you will work closely with our pediatric patients who have a variety of orthopedic issues from birth to 16/17 years of age. Your responsibilities will include:

• Placing and removing casts and splints
• Removing staples and sutures
• Assisting with dressing changes
• Rooming patients for their appointments
• Supporting sterile procedures
• Building relationships with patients and their families

Our clinic operates Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, with no weekend or major holiday shifts required.

Job Summary

If you're passionate about nursing and eager to make a difference in your community, we are looking for a positive and team-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver excellent patient care. In this role, you'll work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, Advanced Practice Provider, or Physician, while also having the autonomy to be the primary nurse for providers within your scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of patients
• Document thorough medical histories
• Assist in the assessment of patients and administer medications or treatments as ordered
• Provide technical support to healthcare professionals
• Counsel patients and families on prevention and treatment plans under a registered nurse's direction

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• If the position involves IV therapy/management, completion of an approved course is required.
• Hold an unencumbered LPN license with the State Nursing Board and maintain required competencies and certifications.
