Department Overview

• Provide one-on-one patient care in the Fargo-Moorhead area.

Nurses in home care have the unique opportunity to focus entirely on a single client’s needs. Responsibilities may include administering medical treatments as ordered, performing vent cares, suctioning, G-Tube care, engaging in exercise programs, and providing personal care.

Qualifications:

• MN license required within 30 days, with license reimbursement offered!

Role Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will play a key role in the implementation and evaluation of patient care for stable and predictable patients of all ages in a home care environment. You will demonstrate knowledge of nursing principles and use your expertise to assess, interpret, and provide personalized care based on age-specific needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer various treatments and medications as directed.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with patients, healthcare providers, and the community.
• Recognize issues and recommend solutions promptly.
• Counsel patients and their families about prevention and treatment plans under a registered nurse's guidance.

Preferred Qualifications:

Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse with a minimum of one year of professional experience preferred. You must hold an unencumbered LPN license with the State Nursing Board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges. A valid driver's license is required.
