Department Overview

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in our home care setting, you will provide one-on-one patient care to clients in the Fargo-Moorhead area. Enjoy the opportunity for valuable person-centered care experiences!

Your duties will include:

• Administering medical treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Providing care for patients with ventilators, suctioning, G-Tubes, and personal care needs
• Implementing and evaluating care for patients of all ages

Role Overview

The LPN plays a key role in evaluating and administering care to stable and predictable patients/residents in the comfort of their homes. You will ensure the health, comfort, and safety of each patient by practicing within your nursing expertise and adhering to age and population-specific standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer treatments and medications as required
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently
• Establish effective working relationships with patients, healthcare providers, and families
• Educate patients and families under the guidance of a registered nurse

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program
• Valid and unencumbered LPN license in North Dakota
• Professional nursing experience is preferred, ideally one year
• Must complete department-specific competencies and certifications
• A valid driver's license may be required, based on location
