Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in delivering patient care and works under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician. Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the health, comfort, and safety of patients.
• Documenting thorough medical histories.
• Contributing to patient assessments and administering medications or treatments as ordered.
• Providing technical support to healthcare professionals.
• Counseling patients and family members on prevention and treatment plans under the guidance of a registered nurse.
• Demonstrating competency within the full scope of nursing expertise in your assigned clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program leading to licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• An Associate's degree in practical nursing is preferred.
• Must possess current licensure as a practical nurse in the state(s) of practice.
