We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our Internal Medicine Clinic. This role includes providing primary care for patients with chronic diseases, engaging in group wellness visits, and delivering home-based primary care.

The ideal candidate should be reliable, adaptable, and possess a team-oriented mindset to collaborate effectively with the nursing team and providers. This position allows you to work closely with a new provider in a 1-on-1 setting, enhancing your skills within a supportive environment.

Job Summary:

Seeking a compassionate, positive Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver holistic care and support to our patients. You will work under the supervision of Registered Nurses or Physicians and have the autonomy to be the primary nurse for a provider, ensuring each patient feels heard and valued.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of patients
• Document comprehensive medical histories
• Assist in the assessment and treatment of patients, administering medications as ordered
• Provide technical support to healthcare professionals
• Counsel patients and families on prevention and treatment plans

Qualifications:

LPN:

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program
• Current unencumbered LPN license with the State Nursing Board
• For IV therapy skills, graduate from a Board approved AASPN program or complete an approved IV Therapy course

Medical Assistant:

• Graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant program with prior healthcare experience preferred
• Nationally certified as a Medical Assistant (CMA, CCMA, or similar certification)
• Must register as MAIII through the ND Board of Nursing within 4 months of hire

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within six months of employment.
