Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM.

Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in implementing and evaluating patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring the health, comfort, and safety of patients.
• Documenting thorough medical histories from patients.
• Contributing to patient assessments and administering medications or treatments as ordered.
• Providing technical support to healthcare professionals as needed.
• Counseling patients and their families on prevention and treatment plans under the guidance of a registered nurse.

The LPN will demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise, utilizing appropriate age and population-specific standards as designated in the clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a nursing program leading to licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse is required.
• An Associate's degree in practical nursing is preferred.
• Must have completed a pre-licensure nursing program with supervised clinical experience across the lifespan or have at least 400 hours of experience as an RN (or LPN) in another facility.
• Current licensure as a practical nurse in the state of practice is required.
