Licensed Clinical Social Worker/LISW

This position involves offering individual and group therapy to patients at a healthcare center in Columbia, South Carolina. The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) will collaborate with healthcare center staff, especially medical providers and case managers, to address patients' mental health needs. The role includes providing counseling for newly diagnosed individuals to adjust to their HIV diagnosis, crisis counseling, and health education to enhance knowledge about HIV, medical adherence, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy to enhance patient care.
• Collaborate with medical providers and case managers to meet mental health needs.
• Offer counseling for newly diagnosed patients adjusting to HIV.
• Conduct crisis counseling sessions.
• Educate patients on HIV knowledge and medical adherence.
• Ensure compliance with the South Carolina Department of Public Health and relevant sections.

Essential Skills

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification.
• Experience in social work.
• Bilingual proficiency.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Hybrid work opportunity: 2 days remote, 3 days in-office.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including some evenings and weekends.

Work Environment

The position is based in a healthcare clinic environment where the LISW provides behavioral health services as part of an integrated care team. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 7:30 am to 5 pm, Friday from 7 am to 1 pm, with every third Tuesday from 10 am to 7 pm, and every third Saturday from 7 am to 1 pm. The role involves creating and managing one's own caseload, working 40 hours per week, and collaborating closely with medical providers, case managers, and other support staff to deliver comprehensive care. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
