We are on the lookout for experienced Workday Platform Engineers who can develop robust, resilient solutions that support our core Finance technology at Capital One.

As a key player in shaping our Finance Technology ecosystem, you will leverage your expertise to champion automation and drive innovative solutions. Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Collaborate with product owners to grasp application capabilities and testing scenarios.
• Translate business priorities into actionable solutions, integrating the Finance value proposition.
• Deliver efficient solutions in Workday across Finance modules such as General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Expenses, and more, while upholding high standards of quality.
• Communicate effectively with teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders to influence collaborative solutions.
• Identify and implement process improvements, partnering with Finance teams to optimize business results.
• Stay informed about Workday technology updates, enhancements, and fixes through continual research and testing.
• Document system implementations and maintenance procedures thoroughly for future reference.
• Serve as the go-to resource for both business and technical inquiries regarding the system.
• Provide production support for Workday, troubleshooting issues and collaborating with business units to resolve challenges.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in platform engineering on Finance platforms (Workday, Peoplesoft, or SuccessFactors).
• At least 2 years of experience designing and developing integration solutions.
• At least 2 years of experience working with APIs in the Workday environment using REST or SOAP.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree.
• 5+ years of experience with Workday across Finance modules (General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and others).
• 3+ years designing and developing integration solutions in Workday.
• 3+ years working with APIs within the Workday environment using REST or SOAP.
• Workday Integration Developer certifications.
• 1+ years designing and developing solutions using Workday Extend.
• 1+ years experience with cloud services like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• 2+ years in Agile practices.
