COMPENSATION: The hourly rate for this position is $19.00 to $22.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job responsibilities include producing and maintaining work schedules, directing daily activities, maintaining food production safety and quality, ensuring food items are stored in a safe, organized, and hazard-free environment, maintaining all serving schedules, maintaining a sanitary department following health and safety codes and regulations, maintaining accurate inventory on a weekly basis, supervising and evaluating employees, maintaining a safe and hazard-free working environment, training/mentoring other food service workers, maintaining logs on all maintenance required on equipment within the department, ensuring all food safety/temperature logs are completed with appropriate corrective action, performing preventative maintenance checklist, recommending replacement of existing equipment to meet needs of facility, proficiency in multi-tasking, performing other duties as requested by the Food Service Director or Manager whenever his/her skill and/or experience would be vital to initiate, coordinate, or complete any given program, filling in for absent employees at location, maintaining knowledge of daily catering events and confirming they are prepared and delivered on time, being able to work occasional night and weekend catered events, attending food service meetings with staff, maintaining communication with staff, performing cashier duties as the need arises, and promoting good public relations.

Qualifications include the ability to read, write, and understand verbal instructions, completing a sanitation course either before or during first year, being knowledgeable in operating an efficient cost-effective program, ability to perform basic arithmetic, maintaining emotional control under stress, ability to resolve interpersonal situations, and strong organizational skills.
