Join our dynamic team as a Key Carrier, where you will play a vital role in retail management. This position encompasses responsibilities typically associated with cashiers, receivers, or sales associates, and you will step in as the acting Store Manager during brief absences. You will have the opportunity to open and close the store as needed, ensuring smooth daily operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Refer to detailed job descriptions for cashiers, receivers, or sales associates for specific responsibilities.
• Open and close the store as needed.
• Support the management of the retail facility and assist in supervising store associates.
• Demonstrate a solid knowledge of store operations and act as the Store Manager in their absence.
• Contribute to the day-to-day operations of the store.
• Help train new associates effectively.
• Stay vigilant about safety and security; promptly report any incidents during the Store Manager's absence.
• Implement and uphold company policies and procedures.
• Work collaboratively to boost sales, maintain profitability, and minimize controllable expenses.
• Ensure the interior and exterior appearance of the store and staff meets company standards.
• Engage actively in personal selling efforts.
• Participate in shrinkage control through preventive measures.
• Assist in resolving personnel and customer issues and complaints.
• Carry out other duties typical of the retail apparel and footwear industry.
• Support the Store Manager with miscellaneous tasks as directed.
• Comprehend reports from the general office and mentor associates to achieve compliance with company goals (e.g., ADS, UPTs, Payroll, Refunds, Turnover).

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Ability to understand and follow basic instructions.
• Capability to interpret documents effectively.
• Aptitude to apply abstract principles to complex tasks.
• Proficiency in understanding the meanings of words and responding appropriately.
• Strong analytical skills for interpreting information and writing reports.
• Must be able to read and understand English.
• Ability to remain alert during assigned work hours.
